A Brief FlipQuiz vs FlipQuiz Classic FAQ

Recently, we got an email from a FlipQuiz Classic PRO member that wanted to get some details straight before switching to the new FlipQuiz (this site). We thought the info was helpful for all, so here are the quick questions and answers…

Q: I had a PRO account at FlipQuiz Classic (flipquiz.me). Why does it not work at the new site (flipquiz.com)?

While part of the same brand, FlipQuiz.com is a complete rebuild of FlipQuiz.me. Different platform, different site. For this reason, accounts and content were not automatically transported over and we will continue to leave FlipQuiz.me running until so little traffic uses the old site that it doesn’t make sense to keep it up. (FYI – there is still A LOT of traffic at FlipQuiz Classic and there is no danger of it shutting down for the foreseeable future).

Q: Is it the same price?

If you would like to upgrade to PRO on FlipQuiz.com, it is currently the same price. However, we are offering a 30% discount for anyone who was already a FlipQuiz Classic PRO member. Just use the code found on your FlipQuiz Classic dashboard at checkout to save 30% on any PRO upgrade at the new site.

(Also, if your last yearly payment at FlipQuiz Classic was less than 6 months ago, let us know and we’ll refund you!)

Q: Can you move my account from FlipQuiz Classic to FlipQuiz?

While your account cannot be moved from one to the other, you can create a new account at FlipQuiz.com and then use the board importer feature to transfer your old boards to the new site. You can find that here:

Q: What will I loose if I quit my FlipQuiz Classic PRO account?

Simply cancelling your FlipQuiz Classic PRO subscription, you will only lose the PRO benefits at the site (https://flipquiz.me/pro), but your content will still remain available to you.
