FlipQuiz Toolbox™: Random Groups

We’re always looking for new ways to improve the FlipQuiz™ website. Many have you have mentioned that you are interested in a way to randomly create groups of students, so we built you just that!

In a new section of the site we’re calling the FlipQuiz Toolbox™, we’ll be adding similar tools that make life just a bit easier when you’re trying to run a game of FlipQuiz or do many other everyday classroom tasks.

Our First Tool: Random Group Maker

No, not the fish. Our first addition to the FlipQuiz Toolbox™ is a random grouping tool called Random Group Maker (clever, right?). Picking teams can be time consuming and lead to issues of fairness. What’s more fair than randomly selected teams?

All you have to do is paste in a list of students (one per line). This can come from your grading software, a spreadsheet, wherever! Pick the number of groups you want or switch over create the groups by number of students per group. The click “Create Groups”!

Here it is in action:

Important Note

NONE of the information is ever saved in our site. Your students’ names or any other information that you enter will never be submitted to our servers or saved in our database.
