The Dashboard Gets Some Much-Needed Love

Yea. That old dashboard page? What a let down.

So you hear about FlipQuiz from a friend or you find the site at Google. You see the home page and it looks pretty nice. You get a good sense of what the site is about and it looks helpful, so you sign up. Everything is going well until you get to the dashboard…. Is this the same site? Did the site’s creators forget all about the one page that EVERYONE will see when they sign up or log in?

Yikes.

Robots and Focus

First things first, we had to add a robot. If you’ve been paying close enough attention, you would have found a few robots throughout the site already – on the board deletion confirmation page, when accessing a private board with a password (PRO feature), or when joining a team (PRO Teams only).

But that’s not why we really wanted to revamp the dashboard – or is it 😉

No, we wanted to bring a little more focus (and delight) to the new dashboard. It needed to give you all the information you need in a clean, easy-to-process interface. We shifted a few things around, but at the end of the day, it’s all pretty much still there.

You can quickly edit your boards or jump right into a game. You can see the dates they were created and last updated. You can see how many times they’ve been liked and whether or not they’re private. All without leaving the page.

We hope you like the newest updates to the dashboard. Let us know what you think on Twitter (@flipquizme) and on Facebook!
